Introduction
You could say this is a guide, but it's not very detailed. I'll just explain things like where you should go, what to do in each town, and which direction to go next—with more focus on the main story. I won't go into detail about item functions, Pokémon types, Pokémon locations, or anything too in-depth.
This is my version of a step-by-step guide, based on my own experience playing Pokemon Dark Worship version 2.6. Thanks to André Freitas for making this game so much fun. Oh, yeah. If there are any inaccuracies or mistakes, please leave a comment—after all.
House
- When the game starts, your character wakes up. You will be given a choice between four game modes: Easy Mode, Normal Mode, Hard Mode, and Expert Mode. Choose whichever you prefer. For this walkthrough, I chose Easy Mode to speed up the process.
- After waking up, walk over to your computer where you'll find a Potion. Then, go downstairs from your room.
- Your mom will talk to you and tell you to visit Prof. Yami.
- Now, exit your house. You are currently located in Casper Town.
Your bed can be used to heal your Pokémon
Casper Town
- Find Prof. Yami’s lab. Inside, you’ll meet your rival and Prof. Yami, who will ask you to choose one of the starter Pokémon — Fire-type (Gen 1–8), Grass-type (Gen 1–8), or Water-type (Gen 1–8).
- After choosing your starter, exit the lab. An assistant from the lab will give you five Poké Balls.
- Outside, a girl will tell you to visit your mom again. Return home and speak to her in front of the TV; she will give you Running Shoes (Press B to run, or press L for auto-run — press L to toggle it on/off).
- After receiving the gift, enter your rival’s house (located to the right of your house) and speak to his sibling, who will give you a Town Map.
- In front of the Magikarp statue, there's a man who gives you a Lucky Egg.
- Head to the right side of town, where you’ll find another assistant from Prof. Yami — speak to him and he will give you TM27.
- Then, proceed to Route 1.
Route 1
- You can find several items and catch wild Pokémon here.
- There is a Berry tree that you can pick from. Remember, in every route or specific area, you may find Berry trees — always collect Berries as they are useful later.
- Walk through Route 1 until you reach the path leading to Marlin Town.
- Go to the Pokémon Center, where your rival will appear and challenge you to a battle. After defeating him, he will head to Mystery Lake.
- At the Pokémon Center, you can heal your Pokémon, buy healing items, and access services like Move Tutors, Name Rater, Move Deleter, and Move Relearner.
- If you go to the upper-right part of town, there’s a police officer blocking the road. He says an investigation is ongoing because a child has gone missing.
- Behind the Pokémon Center, there's a house where a woman named Ivana is looking for her missing son, Jimmy.
- Head to the left side of town and you’ll find a house with a girl named Judith inside. She tells you that Jimmy likes to play at Mystery Lake. Now we know the missing boy is named Jimmy, and he disappeared near Mystery Lake.
- Your next destination is Mystery Lake (which fits our current goal). As you head left, you’ll encounter a Munchlax blocking the path.
- To scare Munchlax away, you need Honey. Return to Route 1 and look for a woman wearing a hair tie (she’s located just below the second staircase).
- Once you have the Honey, use it on Munchlax — you can either battle or catch it.
- After defeating or catching Munchlax, you can proceed to Mystery Lake.
- You will meet your rival and witness a scene with a group of people. Talk to one of them and defeat him — he uses Mimikyu. His name is Izac, the leader of a cult. After defeating Izac, his group leaves, and your rival rewards you with an Exp. Share item.
- Now continue searching for the missing boy named Jimmy. Explore the upperleft area of Mystery Lake until you find a young boy (with an exclamation mark above his head). Speak to him, and he’ll tell you to talk to his friend Judith (the girl in one of the houses) in Marlin Town.
- Return to Marlin Town, find Judith’s house, and speak to her. Then go back to Mystery Lake and talk to Jimmy again. This time, he trusts you, and you can take him home to Marlin Town and reunite him with his mother, Ivana.
- The house is located behind the Pokémon Center. Because you successfully found Ivana’s son, she gives you 5 Super Potions.
- Enter Ivana’s house and speak to Jimmy he gives you TM39.
- There's nothing more to do in this town now. You can proceed to Wire Forest, which is located near the police officer at the upperright part of town.
- Carefully explore Wire Forest — you may find various items. At large rocks, press A to check if there are hidden items, such as Metal Coat or others.
- As you walk through Wire Forest, you'll encounter Barry — defeat him in battle.
- You’ll see an Eevee trapped in the forest, but you can't help it yet because you don’t have HM01 (Cut).
- Ignore it for now and continue exploring until you find the exit from Wire Forest leading to Route 2.
- Travel through Route 2, and you’ll come across a doctor surrounded by wild Mankey. Press A on one of the Mankey to trigger a scene — the man is Dr. Tucker, who asks for your help. Defeat the Mankey, then speak to Dr. Tucker afterward. He will reward you with the Dynamax Band.
- Below that area, near a female trainer whose team consists entirely of Furfrou, there's a bespectacled man named Mr. Quiz. He will ask you a question — answer "Yes" to receive the item Spell Tag.
- Continue your journey toward Coral City.
- In Coral City, there is a salon called “Furfrou Fashion Hair”, where you can change your Furfrou’s hairstyle. If you enter the salon and speak to the boy inside, he will give you the item Rose Incense.
- There is also a Gym in this city, where you can earn your first badge: the Bulk Badge. The Gym specializes in Fightingtype Pokémon, and its Leader is named Sonnen. (You can use Dynamax during this Gym battle.)
- After exiting the Gym, your rival appears and tells you he’s heading to Luris Cave to investigate something.
- There’s not much else to do here. To reach Luris Cave, leave Coral City and head upward, near the Furfrou Fashion Hair salon, where there is a staircase. Walk up the stairs until you find the cave entrance leading to Luris Cave.
- Prepare plenty of healing items before entering the cave.
- In Luris Cave, there are two downward paths: The left path contains a Dusk Ball . The right path leads to a Moon Stone and also TM76 .
- From the area where you found the Moon Stone, go to the right and climb the stairs to reach Luris Cave 2F .There, you will encounter members of the Darkworship group — the same ones you met earlier at Mystery Lake. Defeat all the trainers you come across until you find your rival .He will tell you to look for a code. You can try pressing the circular stones in the middle of the room. The correct sequence is shown in the image below.
- After successfully activating the stones, immediately press A on the code symbol on the wall near your rival. A hidden cave passage will automatically appear. Enter through it, and you will see Izac trying to capture the Pokémon Yveltal . Talk to Izac, then defeat him in battle. After defeating him, you can choose one of the two available fossils: either the Jaw Fossil or the Sail Fossil .
- Now, return to Coral City
- You might be wondering what to do next in this city. Head back up the stairs located to the right of the Furfrou Fashion Hair salon. After climbing the stairs, walk to the right until you see an old man looking at a tree blocking the path. Talk to him — he will give you the item "Crazy Axe" , which is used to cut down trees that block your way (no need to use HM01 Cut — just press A on the obstructing tree).
- Still remember the trapped Eevee in Wire Forest? If you want, you can return there now to rescue and possibly catch it.
- Don’t forget — before heading to Route 3, there’s a small path to the right where you’ll find a blocking tree. Press A on the small tree to reveal TM06 Toxic .
- Now you can proceed to Route 3 by walking to the right after obtaining the Crazy Axe.
- Battle all trainers along the way. You can also find a Leaf Stone and other useful items here.

These shells can be found along the beaches, on small islands, or even near grassy areas at the start of Route 8. When you see a shell on the sand or grass, just press A to pick it up. Once you’ve collected all 10 Empty Shells, return to Ino and he will reward you with the Mega Ring .
- Example of where to find Empty Shells is shown below.
- The person sitting on the right is named Asha. She can create a DexNav for you — an interface that allows you to view specific Pokémon in the wild. With DexNav, when you're in an area like grass, sand, or water, pressing A on a moving patch of grass, a ripple in the sand, or bubbles in the water will let you encounter and battle a specific Pokémon. - To complete the mission:

- Walk to the left until you find a tree blocking your path. Use Cut (HM01) to clear it.

- You can challenge the Capri City Gym, led by Leader Lorena, but unfortunately she’s not present at the moment.
- Since the Gym Leader is missing, head to Snow Hill, located to the right of the city.
- Carefully explore Snow Hill — don’t forget to press A on any rocks you find, as they may contain hidden items. You can find TM109 by jumping across large rocks — the technique is similar to what you did in Route 6.
- As you explore further, you’ll come across a staircase. There, a man named Ronan stands with his Glalie. Ronan is angry because he was defeated by someone named Bellamy, whom he accuses of cheating. He asks you to defeat Bellamy (who is located on Route 7 ) and bring back proof — a strand of Bellamy’s hair. This mission must be completed because there’s a cave on Snow Hill that leads to Gym Leader Lorena, and Ronan is blocking access until you finish it.
- Head to Route 7 on foot. Be sure to buy Repel or Super Repel beforehand to avoid wild Pokémon encounters.
- While traveling through Route 9, near the entrance of Frigost Cave, you’ll meet a Hiker named Calisto, who is heading to Abaco City.
- Answer "Yes" when asked if you want to join him — this lets you skip part of the journey and arrive directly in Abaco City.
- After arriving in Abaco City, head to Route 6.
- Find the old woman with white hair who sells Big Malasada, and buy 10 of them — you’ll need 6 for Bellamy, and the rest can be used for other purposes.
- Head left toward Route 7, then turn downward until you reach a staircase and river area.
- Now that you have HM Surf, ride across the water to the left — here you can find several useful items: Light Ball and TM46 Thief
- Continue exploring until you find a cave. Press A on the rock near the entrance to find a Hard Stone. Enter the cave — it looks like an abandoned power plant.

You need to collect 5 Desert Flowers , which are located throughout the Nubious Desert. Refer to the image below for what the flowers look like.
- Search every corner of the Nubius Desert to find the Desert Flowers. It’s a good idea to buy Repel or Super Repel before heading out — this will help you avoid wild Pokémon encounters that could slow you down. Once you’ve collected all 5 Desert Flowers, return to Frota in Pompano City and speak to him — he’ll reward you with the PokeScan, a useful tool for checking your Pokémon’s IVs, EVs and Happiness.

- But before chasing after your rival, return to Route 14 first. Go back and speak to Sadida (the wizard in the treehouse). He offers you the Climb Boots , but not for free — he gives you a quest: You must find a plant called Sacred Weed , which grows inside the cave on Route 6. If you refuse the quest, Sadida warns that he might curse you — after all, he is a wizard! The Climb Boots allow you to scale special rocks like this one
- Now, head to Route 6. To get there quickly, use a teleport altar in Pompano City. Select Abaco City from the teleport menu. Once you arrive in Abaco City, walk to the right to reach Route 6.
- On Route 6, look for a spot where you can climb special rocks — like the ones shown in the image above. There’s a cave entrance nearby — enter it. Inside the cave, explore carefully and look for the Sacred Weed (a plant-like item) that Sadida asked you to find as part of your quest.
- After obtaining the Sacred Weed, continue exploring the cave while battling members of Izac’s group. Eventually, you’ll encounter Izac himself — he is attempting to catch Xerneas. Speak to Izac — he begins to tell his story
- Izac says he will now face you using his new power — but before the battle starts, he suddenly leaves.
- Now, return to Route 14 and give the Sacred Weed to Sadida. As a reward, Sadida gives you a Hisuian Zorua.

- Explore the cave on Route 19 until you find the exit to the Mystic Labyrinth.
- You will find a maze, and in the maze there are trainers, Joy Sisters, and also treasure chests containing random items, but not all treasure chests contain items; some also give negative things such as Pokémon suddenly being poisoned, returning to the beginning, being frozen or asleep, and other harmful things.
