How to Get HM01 Splash (Find Skitty) to Access Ceram Base Camp - Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries

Upon arriving in Gestree City, a cutscene triggers where a little girl's Skitty runs away. She asks for help finding it, automatically starting the "A Lost Skitty" side quest. This quest is crucial for progressing to Route 4 > Ceram Base Camp.

Step 1: Find Skitty & Get HM01 Splash

Location 1: 

• Behind a tree in the eastern area of town (look for its tail).  
• Press "A" > Skitty runs away.  

Location 2:

• North of Gastree Teahouse, hidden behind another tree. Press "A" > Skitty flees again.  

Location 3: 

• West of the Pokémon Center (left side), near a tree.  
• Press "A" > Skitty returns to its owner.  

Reward: 

• Talk to the girl to receive HM01 Splash.  
• Function: Lets Pokémon jump across river stones. 
• Note: Requires the 1st Gym Badge to use outside battle.  

Step 2: Defeat Gestree City Gym

To unlock HM01 Splash's field use:  

• Enter the Gym > Battle rival Kohla > Win.  
• Talk to the old man inside. The Leader (Inger) is training at Route 3 Underpass.  
• Go to Route 3 Underpass > Enter the cave >Defeat Inger's lackeys.  
• Battle Gym Leader Inger > Earn the King Badge (allows HM01 Splash use + Rare Shard).  

Step 3: Get the Archaeolens  

After beating Inger:  

• Visit the house east of the Gym (right side).  
• An old woman explains the Rare Shard's purpose and gives you the Archaeolens.  

Step 4: Progress to Route 4 

• With HM01 Splash, the King Badge, and Archaeolens:  
• Head north to Route 4.  
• Use Splash to jump river stones > Reach Ceram Base Camp.
