Catching Zeraora in Pokémon Dreamstone Mysteries GBA

Step 1: Join the Ranger Institute (Route 6)  

• Go to Route 6 and enter the Ranger Institute Branch.  
• Register at the PC (cost: 500 Pokédollars).  
• Talk to the scientist sitting upstairs for an interview. Answer: Rock, Absol, Dhelmise, Evolution and Help Them  
• You’re now a certified Pokémon Ranger!  

Step 2: Meet Director Ravine & Get Key Items  

• Go to the 2nd floor of the Institute. Director Ravine gives you: Ranger Bike, Ranger Card  
• Unlocks the "Pokémon Ranger Badge" quest (3 sub-quests).  

Sub-Quest 1: "A Ranger's First Assignment"  

Objective: Deliver a package to the Ivy River Branch (Lily Pond).  

Requirements:  

• Must have the 6th Gym Badge (from Winterlily Hollow).  
• Must own HM03 Surf (reward for defeating Gym Leader Viniel).  

Steps:  

• From Winterlily Hollow, head east and use Surf to reach Lily Pond.  
• Find the Ranger Institute Ivy River Branch.  
• Deliver the package to the scientist > Receive a Mega Stone (Venusaurite, Blastoisinite, Charizardite X/Y).
  
  
  

Sub-Quest 2: "Fieldwork: Mega Evolution"  

Objective: Show 3 Pokémon to scientists at Ivy River Branch.  

Pokémon Needed:  

1. Teodscool (Route 6 ponds, caught with Trolling Rod).  
2. Orbeetle (Evolved from Blipbug, Route 4).  
3. Shiinotic (Evolved from Morelull, Vilethorn Woods). 

Steps:  

1. Show all 3 Pokémon to the scientists (2nd floor, near PC).  
2. Report back to the scientist on the 1st floor > Quest complete!  
3. Return to Route 6 Ranger Institute

Back Pokémon Ranger Branch, Route 6

• Meet and talk to Director Ravine, as you've completed the mission. Ravine rewards you with a choice of one of three Pokémon. Approach the table with three Poké Balls and choose one of the following Pokémon: Tauros Paldea, Kangaskhan, or Manectric.
• After selecting your Pokémon, talk to Director Ravine again, and he'll give you a new mission called "The Final Test". Your task is to catch the mythical Pokémon Zeraora.

Sub-Quest 3: "The Final Test" (Catch Zeraora!)  

Objective: Capture the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora.  

Steps:  

1. From Route 6, head north > Use Surf > Find Static Cave.  
2. Enter the cave (guard leaves when spoken to).  
3. Explore until you spot Zeraora > It flees when approached.  

Tracking Zeraora:  

• Open Pokédex > Select Zeraora > Area > Follow the blinking marker (moves like HGSS Legendary Beasts).  

Best Hunting Spot:  

• Alternate between Route 5 and Vilethorn Woods until Zeraora appears in grass.  

Capture Tips:  

• Use Mean Look or Shadow Tag to prevent fleeing.  
• Bring Ultra Balls/Master Ball (see below for Master Ball). 

How to Get a Master Ball :

• Cheat Method, Activate the cheat box in your bedroom.  
• Legit Method: Go to Mirroh Base Camp, find an old man in a house. Give him: Lava Cookie (Ceram Base Camp shop), Mirroh Cone (Mirroh Base Camp street vendor), Apple Pie (Pelluca Restaurant)  

Reward: Master Ball.  

Final Step:  

Return to Director Ravine with Zeraora > Complete the Ranger Badge Quest!
