Playing Pokémon Team Rocket Edition is really fun! As someone who loves Electivire, I was excited to find Elekid's location in Bill's Garden during Petrel's third mission to steal Bill's teleportation patent. In Bill's Garden, there are grassy areas where you can find both Elekid and Magby. I caught an Elekid that happened to be holding an Electirizer (lucky!). So I decided to farm for both Electirizer and Magmarizer - but remember, don't go meet Bill in his house yet! If you complete this mission first, you won't be able to return to Bill's Garden anytime soon. Make the most of this opportunity.
Bill's Garden Location: Route 25
Preparation:
- TM Thief (found in Mt. Moon)
- Pokémon with Compound Eyes ability (optional)/(Example of butterfly)
Step 1: While doing Petrel's 3rd mission to steal the teleportation patent from Bill at his house on Route 25, you'll battle three police officers. After defeating them, enter the secret door in the top-right corner to access Bill's Garden. Don't go meet Bill yet - instead, focus on item farming in the grassy areas.
Step 2:
Search for Magby or Elekid in the grassy areas of Bill's Garden. Their encounter rates are quite low, so patience is required. Make sure your Pokémon that knows Thief isn't holding any items. Use Thief when you encounter Elekid or Magby - not all of them will be holding items, so this requires persistence during your hunt for these items.
Item : Electirizer- Target : Elekid
- Location : Bill Garden Route 25
- Target : Magby
- Location : Bill Garden Route 25
"To be honest, Electirizer and Magmarizer aren't needed for evolving Magmar and Electabuzz in this game. To evolve Electabuzz into Electivire, you only need a Link Stone. The same applies for Magmar evolving into Magmortar - just a Link Stone is required."
However, both items provide excellent battle advantages:
Magmarizer
- Boosts Magmortar's Special Attack and Special Defense by 30%
Electirizer
- Boosts Electivire's Attack and Special Defense by 30%
Is it easy? While the process does require considerable time and patience, that's precisely the key to success. Although you'll eventually be able to obtain both items elsewhere in the game, I firmly believe this method represents the most effective way to acquire Electirizer and Magmarizer during the early stages of Pokémon Team Rocket Edition.
